Lol I thought the exact same thing. Its actually the ref yelling "Stop it's Mark!" to Slava's opponent because he was trying to fight the ref unconsciously

I give huge respect to Borschev. Every fighter is amped to finish the fight, I get that. Borschev *got him* and he stopped nearly immediately. Which, to me, is a victory in itself.

@@tristanjoao3464 To me it looks like he prepares to follow up and has time and space to do so, but recognizes that the opponent is out and that the ref is calling it. To me it just looked like great situational awareness but i could be wrong🤷♂️

Striking Defense is beyond crazy good, head movement is top notch, ground game not as much but at close range his striking is just lethal.

@DisLB He has already beaten 2 really good wrestlers in his UFC career. This one and his recent debut. Its okay to get taken down as long as you can protect against submissions and get back to your feet quick. Look at someone like Izzy, he has gotten pretty good at that in a relative short amount of time.

I'm going to give Borschev some *MAJOR* props on two fronts. 1. That *truly was* a beautiful left hook. Man. It doesn't *get* more perfect than that. Good job. That hook belongs in a museum. 2. Borschev *could* have raced in there and nailed him 3 - 6 more times, but stopped the second he realized how hard he got him. I always *understand* when fighters need to finish the fight, but I always appreciate when *they use restraint* against someone who is knocked out. Good for him. BTW, kudos to both fighters. I don't want to take anything away from Duncan.

Interesting that they were talking* up Duncan’s boxing while the Russian was landing sharp short shots with his guard up high.

Duncan was forced to make weight 2.5 times for this fight after his opponent ducked out of his intended fight. He took this on extreme short notice , didn't train for this guy, and would have beat him otherwise. Duncan went on to get an even more impressive knockout for his own contract in dwc next season.

Слава - мощь! Очень крутой бой, понравилась тактика на бой, и разнообразный арсенал.Только я спорил с другом по поводу лучшего боксера UFC. У Петра и Макса появился конкурент. Борьба ксатти тоже на уровне к него, хотя и есть конечно куда расти. С Почином!

Some constructive criticism: Don't know if I'm alone in this but I feel like naming the winner in the title kind of ruins the fight for me, like knowing the ending to a movie before watching. A title like "Perfect Left Hook Secures A UFC Contract" would be much better in my opinion

Ducan didn’t have as good as stand up as his opponent but he fought behind a jab and showed some decent toughness and wrestling. I think I got him winning today based on tape . He don’t got to worry about this stand up vs whose he’s facing today.

I am touched by Broschev story, a person came from former Stalingrad, with nothing but dreams... He has amazing standup, made me a fan.. But he needs to to work on his ground game too.. With that kind of ground skill, I am afraid he won't be able to go far... And he should fight at 145
