To Conor's credit he did show us something that we failed to realize before. In USA people are so gullible that you only need to use your mouth to reach to the top. People are so desperately seeking role models that they are blind to your obvious flaws. You just need to sell yourself. Everything else is secondary
@Elcherino1238 жыл бұрын
+Utsab Gupta (Bino) And what has Conor shown us what we havent seen before? A guy that talks more than he fights. A guy that moves up and down before someone eventually chokes him out. Guys like Conor are a dime a dozen. One falls and another takes his place. Last, its not all us Americans backing this fool, most of his fans are Irish.

+lowlypeasant sadly, that's what the American fans like to see... entertainment. In Europe for example, its not the one who gets the most success the one who gets the most fans... it's more about tradition and values. That's why Benfica has the most fans and Liverpool the most dedicated. . And so is in South America... for example, Werdum doesn't have so many fans in Brazil because he is not identified with their culture, he's not from the favelas. . In US, we can see over and over again how fans simply go from being Anderson's fans to being Weidman's fans. They are no true fans.

+Remmy Kauffer Season your words with salt. You cant blame a whole country for the actions of a small group. MMA hasnt been around in the spot light as long as the likes of baseball, soccer, etc. Its equivalent to saying all Muslims are terrorist, a very irrational statement
@remmykauffer82529 жыл бұрын
Christian Sanchez agree, my statement was wrong, since i generalize what i think about some people to an entire population. but i do think most of the Americans (from US) do not support people only because they are Americans. In Europe and in South America, you "must" support you're fellow countryman if he is against someone from another country even if you do not like him, because you feel he is fighting for the honor of the entire country... in US i don't think this philosophy applies.

It's like imagine if you where a UFC fighter, and you had the witty speech to get people entertained, and over your career you could make 10+x the amount of a humble, nice talking fighter, you would certainly use your trash talking skills to your advantage, sell fights and make the big cash, and at the end, tell everyone it was a big act and you make a fortune with your acting skills, you'd be a bigger legend leaving the UFC major rich and cocky than leaving rich and humble.

You can tell after watching this video that Conor certainly doesn't hate these guys. Trash talking is just his way of doing things, and it's his way of getting into his opponents' heads. Mad respect to him.
@andrehts116 жыл бұрын
He is a very respectful guy outside the promoting stuff, btw he only roasts the opponent, he does not talk shit with a real hate feeling

Wow, apparently everyone needs video proof of that to recognise he respects other fighters.... No wonder loads of people hate him, it's because they're fucking simple minded

@William Robert You probably embarrass yourself every day. Listen, I know what's unfolded since 4 years ago... are you really so pitiful that you're gonna try and correct a statement made that long ago?

@William Robert Shame you didn't post a comment proving that... Easy to talk shit in hindsight.

@pjsaggu43208 жыл бұрын
still don't know why aldo gets a lot of hate, Conor corrected his mistakes by beating Diaz in a rematch but people think aldo can't do the same, the match with Conor he wasnt stable just rushed like a bull and just got knocked in 13 secs humiliating yes but he is trying to correct his mistakes just like every fighter would and plus every great fighter gets knocked down and they also fix their mistakes.
@pjsaggu43208 жыл бұрын
Nah Mann I wouldn't say aldo ain't even worth the fight obviously he is, when aldo is actually focused and training hard he can take his opponent out that match with Conor, Conor got under his skin and made aldo unfocused and just made him rush in to him but this time aldo will have a chance but I think it's going to go in a decision.
@pjsaggu43208 жыл бұрын
Under estimate aldo so much, he haven't got knocked out ever until Conor came and got him side tracked
@Fightconnoisseur968 жыл бұрын
He can't take Conor's power, that's just the truth
@pjsaggu43208 жыл бұрын
+DanIrish409 he can if he puts a lot of training and hard work in to it, cause look Conor tapped out and then he kept on training really hard for the rematch and then he fixed what he was having trouble with before and then he applied his hard work into the rematch with Nate and won now if aldo does the same he could best Conor, if he doesn't win then I guess he isn't the best featherweight but instead one of the best fighters in that division
@Fightconnoisseur968 жыл бұрын
Prabhjot saggu because Aldo's body simply cannot absorb Conor's power, he doesn't have the chin for it. Aldo can improve his technique all he wants, Conor will eventually land that big left.

No you are not grasping the reality. When has Conor thrown a haymaker like Mendes in the Ufc? Never. He doesnt need to do those stupid overhand rights that miss 90% of the time because even his jabs have knockout power. You can see Chad winding up before he theows. Conor has power in both hands Chad little trex arms cant generate that swing like Conor can, thats why Chad has to tense up to punch haha.

Magani79 many MMA fighters already accepted Aldo as the greatest ever. If he wins his next two fights... Aldo will break both Fedor and Silva's records. He currently equaled both their records, being a decade undefeated and defending his world title 10 times.
