I like that Henry's managed to balance his genuine character with that "persona" shit. At one point it was so off balance no one really resonated or understood it. The break, coaching & building his value behind the scenes seems to have done him a lot of good. Fair play
@ymb9shinzou743
@ymb9shinzou743 Жыл бұрын
I love the interviews the week of because I think that's when you see and hear from the "fighter" inside all these guys and get a real peek at the mentality. They're ramping up and it's impossible to keep their real feelings from leaking out. They all say "When that cage closes I'm a different person" but I think it's a gradual process to get in that mindset. This is the last we get to see of them before they face each other. I wouldn't call this the 'real' Henry but this is the closest thing we'll hear to the guy that's in the fight.

In every single interview Henry tells us that he is the greatest at least 3 times! No one calls Henry the GOAT except Henry! Henry brags on himself more than any other person in the WHOLE WORLD! If he happens to get past aljo he will easily beat Sean, but Volk will stomp the shit out of him!

I want him to win, but Aljo will get his hand raised when Cejudo taps. Sucks, but it's the truth. I get what he's saying, rooting for what he wants to do, but him saying 'because it's easy money,' that mentality isnt enough. He's looking past his opponent. He says he respects him, but he doesn't. I'll check back in to 'eat my words' later, but, for now, mark them.

I love how people taking about the age lol Sterling is 33 Cejudo 36 they are basically the same age that is the new fighting prime they are saying these days plus Cejudo is a special athlete. They always talk about the gold but not that he bypassed hs like Kobe and went straight to the pros to win the championship of the whole entire world! Bourroughs Cael Taylor all did their four years of college and then won one later. Snyder and Stevenson did some college then took Olympic red shirt. This dude was wrestling Steven Abas and Sammy Henson at 18! He was in hs training for the Olympics. He’s different! People can try at 18 to not go to college and go straight to Olympics but most the times those every four years don’t add up like his did or you just can’t win the trials that young. He’s Been out fresh for a few years and he’s that’s caliber of special athlete like Jones and GSP.

I think Aljo and Merab are already a step above the division. I thought Petr was but they both beat him. If Petr was able to takedown Sean surely they will unless he improves which I believe he will. Cejudo took 3 years off and is 36 I believe. He’s talking about O’Malley, Volk, man I just think Aljo is gonna put a brutal beat down. Cejudo is a legend though.

Aljo is not step above the whole division. He got shit beat out of him vs Yan 1. Yan 2 he lost the last 2 rounds. Merab has no striking power. Cehudo would outpoint Merab.

@@rejeebush I think this will be the fight he really shows he’s a step above the division besides Merab. He won round 1 on the feet with Yan. Round 4-5 were close rounds and you could argue he knew he was 3-0 I was rooting for Yan to finish him. When he got Yan down there was no getting up and that was something that impressed me most about Yan before the fight. Look what he did to Sandhagen, he is definitely a step stronger than everyone I think it’s really gonna shock Cejudo who I think is gonna look worse than he’s ever looked because of layoff and age.
@rejeebush
@rejeebush Жыл бұрын
@@АлексейНиколаев-ч3р round 1 was close. But realistically 2, 3 rounds he got Yans back shoeboated and did no damage. People were giving Mackachev shit for holding Volk down with no damage but when Aljo did it nobody said anything. 4, 5 rounds definetely Yan won but having said that Aljo did squezzed out a win, but it was lot closer than people think. Dont forget the fact that he was getting destroyed before the knee and the fact that couple years ago Marlon almost literally killed him. Impressive performance against Sandhagen and thats the only one he has. Prime TJ wouldve knocked him out within 3 rounds.

@@rejeebush Yan is my favorite fighter, and my respect for him made me respect Aljo if that makes sense. I don’t like how he cried like in my profile then went and posted with the belt and talk a lot of crap but he’s here to stay boring style and all. I don’t let biases effect my predictions. Anyone can get caught, I think Yan made him a better fighter. I see your point. I think Mathew Selmsberger (however you spell it) should’ve beat Jeremiah Wells. I think there is a inconsistency that benefits certain fighters just saying. As for TJ I didn’t start watching ufc until 2019 so he’s really before my time I couldn’t say
