Ian been fighting much better guys, has way more ufc rounds experience and only lost close to possibly the best in the division. His win over Magny was more impressive as well- he systematically destroyed Magny for 3 rounds.

Idk, the other nerds have some hidden grappling skills, could be the same with Carlos Although I do think Ian will do better on the feet than most people think, as MVP was first time he fought someone who he wasn’t faster than and wasn’t used to it, I also think after her almost choked mvp he thought he could get an easy sub and forced it the rest of the fight

They do this with every single yt fighter, it’s nothing new.
