gaethje and dustin all were scared when oliveira was on the ground after a knockdown, that is his moment to recover and get back into the fight, they saw how michael chandler tried and failed to do. When islam knocked him down, he went straight down to submit him. That was crazy!

One word ISLAM being a true believer in ALLAH the most glorified the most high is what got him there how many time does he and khabib say Alhamdulilah meaning all praise is due to ALLAH for giving me this for allowing me to win I cannot do any of this without ALLAH WHO blessed me with so much. yeah, Islam is usually slow and tries to be crafty on the feet, but as he said. Charles does do a lot of repetitive things, and Islam countered that perfectly. It also seems like when you compare this to the Islam v Tibau fight that the striking style vacillates between very timid, technical striking, to very aggressive depending on who they are fighting (grappler vs non grappler).

When Khabib defended his belt against poirier in Abu Dhabi, Islam fought the same night and during his interview, Khabib came and put his belt next to Islam and said “Future Champ”. oliveira probably came to when islams deep right neck underhook and his head already locked driving into the mat trapping his arm in, monkey guard into side control mount is one of the most tappable chokes in BJJ. Oliveira had no chance once he hit the mat loopey Islam came him no time to recover his BJJ wits. "If sambo was easy it would be called jiu jitsu"

I'm not gonna lie, i belived Charles had the better stand up, when he was repeating that he's gonna knock Islam out in the first round....i thought Charles is gonna win But Islam made it look easy, Dominated everwhere, he knocked Charles down and choked him out !Congratulations, the better fighter won. I can't post a picture here .. but i was talking with friends on the WhatsApp and everyone told me Islam has no change against Charles. And I told the guys in every fight Charles take the risk to pressure fighters but he get hit a lot and get knocked down after that everyone is afraid because of his groundgame so he can recover. Islam is not afraid he is a Sambo world champion that trains all his life with Khabib his family. I literally told/texted my friends after round one Islam is gonna hurt Charles knocks him down and the he is gonna submit him .. and that's exactly what he did congratz champ 🏆

hes only 31, Islam has a very real chance at ruling the LW division for a very long time. All the fighters in the top 5 will get absolutely destroyed outside of Dariush, Arman and Gamrot will most likely matchup better with Islam than Dustin, Justin and Chandler honestly.
