All of the 155er are so skilled in comparison to all the other devision is crazy, truly the best devision in all of mma. Its such a tallent rich division that you got like 15 fighters who are more skilled than even jon jones, how crazy is that. Well Strickland is always coming forward and throwing blows, even if he’s been clipped. If Islam gets clipped he dives for a leg. Now that’s the smart decisions because of his superior grappling skills, but MMA fans are weird and want to see a brawl.

Literally the judges scorecards were almost even. It was a close fight and Dustin fought very well. It could've gone either way in the 5th.

You think he's knocking Leon off? I honestly doubt it, man. Islam is amazing, but when he moves up a weight class, he's going to be dealing with far stronger guys. His wrestling becomes less effective the more he climbs divisions. I think Leon would put his lights out tbh.

People get tired of him laying and praying while being a typical weight bully. I hate Edwards but if Islam moves up he will def have a hard time getting Edwards down and probably get his martins nap from Leon trying to move up.

They’re just haters lol and can’t stand a Russian Muslim beating eveyone. Islam is as humble as you can come, doesn’t have a bad bone and never disrespects his opponents, finishes his fights, can strike, grapple, fighting eveyone they give him. MMA fans are very fickle

he fought very well and Dustin is my favorite fighter, im from New Orleans .. and I love that the Dagestanis give Poirier so much respect, but Poirier also let himself down he could have been more active, more flurries, knees, put the pressure etc. He was scared of takedowns... good fight

Islam being the current p4p #1. I still believe that prime Khabib was levels ahead of everyone including Islam. Islam was impressive, but he still looks like he can be beaten. Khabib in hs last fight against Gaethje looked damn unbeatable.

@@harrydavey9884 Islam's striking is damn impressive that's for sure. But Khabib just goes into beast mode, where nothing fazes him. He'll take a clean strike from Gaethje or a wild headkick from barboza and just keep moving forward like nothing. Islam doesn't have that same constant intense pressure.

I like how Islam at first was always under Khabib's shadow and I think Khabib saw this and stopped coming to his fights maybe to help and now we see Islam become his own person and his accomplishments speak for itself. Heck, Islam wants that Champ-Champ status to cement himself up there along with Khabib, such a wonderful journey Islam has had so far.

It's still insane to think how fast he makes his opponents tap or put to sleep. Same with Oliviera, within a matter of seconds they go from standing to on the ground tapping. It's just crazy. One wrong move and it's all over
