The performance against Brunson was a literal masterpiece of artwork. The patience, the combination diversity. I love how Izzy is so good at going to the body, attacking different levels, feints, reflexes of a Ninja. I'm always hyped to watch Izzy Compete 🤘🥋🤘

The best thing about this is the Anderson Silva story. He said don't believe this guy is your friend because he is a spider, but then later on he told him to stop taking punches and put his hands up. Clearly he was in Izzy's head at least a little bit.

Its cos Anderson moves his head just enough last second so it doesnt land clean, its super frustrating when your landing like that cos you know even tho you hit them they kinda won that mini battle cos you didnt hit them clean

2:57 I feel like that was probably the young Adesanya in him, the kid who admired the spider telling him not to do that. Probably witnessed the times he got knocked out by doing that and it probably upsetted him and wouldn't have wanted him to go out like that again.

This dude is so genuine. He seems keenly aware the danger of being famous and wants to stay grounded. Another thing is that you can tell he puts himself into his fights, loves his stuff and it shows.

@@Cornkake That is kind of on Anderson though for sticking around for way too long. Doing that and losing fights will blemish your legacy, regardless of how great your prime was as your decline as a fighter becomes part of your history. Retiring at the right time is so important.

Not quite. Izzy would need to almost triple his current title defence number to be in the conversation for that. Silva set the bar extremely high for 185 much like GSP did for 170.

I felt very bad for Marvin after that fight he knew he lost when the bell sounded but he didn’t get finished and stepped up against costa and ate some nasty ass kicks to the body and the head Marvin vettori my fellow Italian is a good fighter if he polished his boxing and wrestling and just uses feints more he can become something I just don’t see anybody beating Izzy at middleweight less he gets caught our a weird injury.

Dude, if i was one of those people on the street and just see him. I would be going crazy, the man that got me into boxing and hopefully soon mma (though i highly doubt i would be able to do anything with it. Its mainly for fun and enjoyment of the sport)

@Eduardo not really no, just watching the fights, training stuff (whenever one of my workout buddies shows it), and the KZbin. Dude just gave me tons of motivation to get out of a depressive state. But thanks for being toxic in a way, just a fan that got motivated by the dude so much to but the anxiety aside and get a new hobby that is healthy rather than other shit that isn't good.

You are right. People who doubt Izzy should go watch is kickboxing fights and they will see him in his true elements where he doesn’t have to worry about takedowns. During his kickboxing, he looked even way more untouchable than Silva. The advantage Silva have over izzy is time. Silva got a tittle shot as is 2nd fight in the ufc and he knows jiujitsu. But if it’s just kickboxing, Izzy got that all day.
