@@lalit-singh-bishtthat’s a partially true. Both Joe & Dc pointed out that 1-2 rd Izzy had it because he fought from the outside. Gast pushed inside 3-4. Rd5 Izzy traded but went back to the outside game. Then punished him for the mistakes. Gast should’ve pressured Izzy from the start. He has no ground game. But his defense is amazing.

My first and only UFC event in 2019. I was broke but I knew the UFC doesn’t come to Atlanta often so I spent about $200 on nose bleed seats, but because some seats were empty, me and my friend snuck to closer seats throughout the night. Adesanya, Gastelum, Holloway, and Poirier on one card was insane. Roundtree was on the card as well. Great night, will never forget.

The best strikers* it’s all grapplers at the top for the most part, and they rate takedowns so high that it doesn’t matter if they aren’t getting any ground n pound in anymore like it used to. You can just be a volume got that gets a lot of takedowns (Merab) and although you don’t land anything the sheer volume will be score so high that you can win

wow these two guys are pro. they took their time, careful of their moves, confident and bold. the fight is highly professional. Kelvin guy really tried. I did not expect he will go that far with Adesanya. Isreal never rush, and play a lot of tricks in his fight like what i will call bait. He is a cool pro. never giving up.

@@kurt6708 You say that as if it's an insult. Gastelum (regardless of height) is a tough fighter (I assume because of his height, being nearly beaten by him is funny to you). Plus he's beaten a lot of people bigger than Gastelum (Alex Pereira, Anderson Silva, Paolo Costa, Marvin Vettori, Robert Whittaker, Yoel Romero, Derek Brunson, Brad Tavares, Jared Cannonier etc). Are you saying the version of him that beat those guys couldn't beat Imavov?

I dont think you know the fighters as well as they know each other. The frame Izzy gave Gastelum reads like Adesanya had recovered enough to start countering (pause the video and look at Adesanya before the TD attempt, and then go look at Adesanya right before he KO's Alex P). Adesanya had literally just gotten his legs back as Gastelum had punched himself out. Seriously, really look at Izzys hands and toes as Kelvin squares up on him before the shot. You can literally see him feint a 1 in prep for the 2, then he notices Kelvin marching with his hands down, and he shells. He wanted Kelvin to smack his shell so he could hook into a straight.
