You're high. Smith would of beaten old Shogun just like he beat the old one. Know why? Smith's western boxing is actually good. Shogun's boxing, with the exception of a few fights, is dog shit. That fake pump left, right, left is so embarrassing to watch. If you wonder why Boxing fans bash MMA fighter's level of striking ... it's because of shit like that.

@@franke102 If you want to talk boxing in MMA, lets talk boxing in MMA. Boxing has never been a fundemental thing in MMA, its needed more to refine technique than on its own. The 2 proven best bases to build off of are wrestling 1st and muay thai 2nd (bjj isnt a solid base once everyone learns it anyway). Every champ in in the ufc comes from 1 of those disciplines (with the sole exception being Nunes). Boxing is far too 1 dimentional and is only needed for the fundementals.

Fun Fact:UFC 126 happened in March 19,2011 in the US. It was shown live in the Philippines in March 20,2011 which is my birthday alongside Daniel Cormier and Robbie Lawler, making it my favorite birthday moment ever!

Shogun being ever so respectful to jones even leading up to the fight he looked a little scared of him. I mean watched his interview of him and even at the weigh in he didnt look fierce or convinced me that he even had a chance in this fight. Jones won way before they even lined this up.

What amazes me the most is that Jones makes mistakes in every single fight and somehow it doesn't affect the outcome. He gets hit by guys that shouldn't touch him, taken down by a guy who has never landed a takedown in the UFC except that one, and still manages to win. Tony Ferguson does the same thing.
