tbh, he never really lost to a non-contender. It's seem unlikely he can reach the top of the division anymore, but he's still at a gatekeeper status. So he never should've been dropped out of the top 10.

Kelvin is the pride of our small town. We’re lucky to say we’ve had 4 individuals who’ve made it to the UFC. Congrats to both fighters and also the rest of the fighters on the roster for making their hometowns proud whether it’s win or loose.

Kelvin is arguably the most underrated fighter that is currently on the ufc roster. He’s had his fair share of shortcomings, but look at who he’s fought, the who’s who. Its great to see him back on the right track
