that is exactly what makes him not anywhere remotely close to being the GOAT as Khabib fans want you to believe. The greats can dominate people in the weight classes around their preferred weight. Like Anderson Silva taking a last minute match in his late 30's against a significantly heavier opponent he didn't train for and displaying amazing stand up and ground game. Khabib never did this and most unbiased people wouldn't even rank him as great, let alone the greatest of all. and he goes full triggered snowflake if there are ring girls, keep those boobies away from kabib, not many models coming out of dagestan, maybe bears mangle the decent looking ones?

And out of all those fighter he defeated, you talked about Connor. Makes you think... How great Connor actually was. And Khabib is a Goat in his own right. But Connor....he is playing on another level. Khabib was pretty one dimensional. And that's why he is the greatest fighter I have ever seen. Connor's story is different. He fought because he wanted to win. He wanted to win because he needed money to get his life. And he was an absolute champ in his prime. And when they both met, Connor was a buisness man, Khabib was a fighter by profession. And even then Connor was not bullied by Khabib as people had expected. This has often happened in history. When old empires fell to Mongol invasion, because your soldiers and generals were also rulers. They had to look after a society. Fulfill a role in scoety. While Mongols they only knew fighting. And they lived for fighting. There generals had no other role. It was just to go out their and fight. Same with Spartans in Greece. Rajputs in India. They all got defeated when the buisnessmen became more important than fighter.
