I think Leon even years ago beats Colby. Colbys last actual legit contender win was rda, and rda gave him a tough fight losing 3-2. That version of rda imo who was good sure isn’t even close to Leon Edwards at that same time, and I mean Leon turned around like a year later and 50-45d rda. We will see but I just think Leon is criminally underrated and I just hope Colby fans and the wider mma community doesn’t cry about age or time off if and I think when Leon goes out and handles him, because he’s long overdue people putting some respect on his name.

Don't think that's a big deal. Colby's been fighting bigger guys in WW his whole career - see Usman. That being said, if I was a betting man I'd be putting my money on Leon. Although, I wouldn't be shocked if Colby ground out the victory by decision. I will be surprised if Colby fnishes him. That definitely seems like the least likely scenario in this fight.

Respectfully I disagree. You gotta take into account the decline of Usman and how he's strayed from his wrestling in favor of striking. I think if Kamaru could take Leon down multiple times in their multiple fights, especially in the 3rd one where Usman was arguably at his worst and was super gun shy and being passive staying in Leon's kickboxing range, then with all that considered Colby can take Leon down as well. But imo the difference is Colby seems to a lot better when he actually gets you down. He's very good at keeping you down by having good control and threatening submissions and just making smart decisions, all while wearing on you. The Masvidal fight is a good example. I think Leon will probably get up after the 1st one, but with Colby for the most part he usually gets the next takedown much easier until eventually his opponent has no energy left. That's just my take anyway

The first fight 8 years ago Leon had zero wrestling basically, second fight was hard and he got beaten wrestling wise up untill the headkick but that was in altitude. 3rd fight he showed who he couldnt be at altitude i believe.
