idk, gaethje has gotten better throughout time playing more careful, i may be mistaken by not watching his recent fights but referring to his fights against porrier, he was more tactical and smarter wit his decisions rather than going headfirst as always, idk but it’ll b a great matchup

The only person I remember pressuring Gaethje and forcing him on the backfoot was Khabib. Max doesn't have the power or threat of the takedown to "push" Gaethje back. Pressure maybe, but sitting with the pocket with Gaethje can't end well considering the power disparity

I think he very well could be as well. Never thought about it but I would put him over volk. And I like volk I am a fan of his. I thought the first fight was too close to give the challenger the belt. I say it was a tie. Second fight I thought max won. Third was obv volks win. Would like max to win and then beat volk for a unprecedented resume and get back that featherweight goat tag back 🐐 🏷️

As much as people like the way this fight played out, I personally think it is a detriment to the sport of MMA. I would rather see someone win a fight in a situation where both fighters are using their complete skill set, including defense. Playing rockem sockem robots in the middle of the ring plays into the steroetypes that people have of the sport, and it shortens fighters' careers.

2 TRUE MMA hero's going to light it up. Blessed has to avoid the calf kick to survive, Highlight has to solve the boxing. I feel like Justin'll plan to eat two, to land his uppercut. And Max will mix up his arsenal. More kicks, strong jabs from outside till he stuns him, then side step the haymaker, go in for a 3 piece. This fight, IMO, won't be about power as much as it will be about speed and volume of strikes. I respect both men. Both are Killers, Both are humble, both are professionals. May the best man win. Like many, whoever wins, I'll be happy for but I'll grieve for the loser too. Two of the finest in the sport.
