Holloway is a beast. He’s the first person to beat Ortega and Allen in the UFC, only person to beat Aldo twice and has wins over Yair, Kattar, Edgar, Pettis, Lamas, Stephens, Oliveira and Swanson.

Fighters have the ability to shape the minds of fans. More fighters should call out crowds/fans for their bullshit. I think the only time you should boo is blatent time wasting and unsportsmanlike behaviour (cheating etc). Booing is so disrespectful to the amount of work that goes into this mad job they do.

Max fought like a veteran , showed very good ability to adjust and good gameplanning as well as patience which is good considering his earlier style used to get him hit so much. He still got that fire and he demonstrated that by defeating an up and comer and skilled prospect like Allen

I think Allen being way too nice and respecting too much is what the issue here.. he need to fight like everyone coming to take his dream away. If he was more aggressive, it would’ve been different.

@@twondagreat8893 I'm not referring to the talk part, I'm saying in his grit and the way he fight Max.. maybe that was his game plan to not be super aggressive and just be calculated but obviously this shows Max is still level above in skills. I think Allen fights better when he is aggressive or at least mix it up with timing. But of course cardio is a huge factor so I get why he cant just be super aggressive all the time since its a 5 round.

@@twondagreat8893 Also you know mental play a huge part too right? If you're being nice and respect too much for your opponent, it can cause more harm than good when fighting. This is why when you fight your opponent, you can't just always be acting "playful" depending on the circumstances of course but in an actual fight, the switch should be different.

Tbf i think whittaker won against izzy in their second fight but got robbed. Likewise an argument could be made that max won fight no 2 vs volk but because volk won 1 and 3 clearly he is the better fighter

Max won the first two rounds, volk won the last two. The only round in question was round 3. It wasn’t a robbery. Just a very close fight.

Arnold was clapping for Max before the winner was announced. He KNEW who was the better man tonight even though it was a close fight. @@awex7 Well, Arnold disagrees with you, but you can think whatever you want. It's good to like someone that much, but at some point you have to recognize an imbalance between liking a fighter and acknowledging the truth. Max almost knocked Arnold out in the last seconds of the fight, which is what Arnold was trying so hard to do to Max. Arnold's own corner told him he had to finish Max to win; therefore, no way was it a robbery.

This man is an absolute legend and what makes him even more great, is he does it with stand up boxing only!! He threw some kicks in there tonight and tried to keep his distance but for a game that is revolving around wrestlers, this man has become one of the greats due to his boxing!! Max may officially be my favorite fighter now. The respect he has for his opponent, and the beauty of competition is an absolute breath of fresh air while a majority of the UFC appears to be going in the other direction. And cheers to Arnold Allen, I look forward to following his career as well.

Max looked like a champion. I was worried ever since his last fight against Volk because lots of fighters would lose their fighting spirit at that point and go on a losing streak. Boy, was I wrong to worry. Max looked better than ever. He clearly made lots of improvements and adjustments. He's not going anywhere anytime soon.

Just a speed bump for Allen. I agree with Bisping this was a very close fight that could've gone either way. Arnold will take this and learn from it and be back better than ever. It's not a matter of if but when for his championship aspirations. We as Brits are the toughest lads on planet earth and we may take some lumps along the way but you can never keep us down!!
