@@12345Yeah you don't train or fight, do you? Speaking from personal experience, as someone who trains & has sparred with him a lot 1. HE'S A VOLUME STRIKER, NOT A POWER STRIKER. Big difference 2. Max hits harder than it looks like 3. These professionals are warriors & you never wanna show a weakness that an opponent can capitalize on. Bro, they're hurting, they're just not showing it 4. Taking as much light shots as Kattar did does more damage to your brain than taking one big shot that puts you to sleep

He was so pumped up about his boxing this fight because A LOT was talked about Calvins boxing in the lead up. About Calvin being one of the best boxers in the UFC. Max heard it all and murdered him.

Yea Poirier is insane at lightweight and I'm a massive Holloway fan, but holloway took the poirier fight on short notice and didnt even have much time to bulk up before fighting Dustin who bulked up to 175 pounds, and Holloway still hurt him with his volume striking

I mean, you are a striker that competes at the highest level of MMA in the world and the guy in front of you starts talking to the commentary team, then he hits you while not looking at you, of course you try to get back at him, but he slips 5 of your punches by a inch like it was nothing WHILE looking towards the commentary team, then he looks at you and goes "What?!" and proceeds to hit you clean in the face again. I feel like Max is orders of magnitude better than he was at 21 when they first fought. Even then Conor didn’t finish him and Max gave him an injury that put him out for close to a year if I remember right. I think in their current forms Max either finishes him by the 3rd or 4th round once Conor gasses or he punishes him for 5 rounds

*This fight would be very different if KATTAR was the AGGRESSOR!* I still think Holloway wins, but you can’t let Holloway accumulate damage on you. You have to put Holloway on the back foot and make it a dog fight as the aggressor. Holloway doesn’t fight anywhere near as good while on the back foot. *Styles make fights.*
