100%. I've never been the biggest Diaz fan (either of them), but Nate might have turned me here! To take on a different opponent w/ 1 day notice is amazing! And while Ferguson has been on a bit of a losing streak, the guy is VERY experienced w/ a good record and was undefeated from 2012 to 2020!!!

I'm glad Nate respects him as well. I just wish the matchup happened 4-5 years ago. Tony looked like he lost some intensity, angry Tony in the fight was the most vicious Tony. He looked like he just wanted to have fun with Nate, rode along, and I liked seeing him happy at the end of the day, God knows he had some demons in his head...

Most of us have so much love and respect for these two that we really didnt want none of them to lose. But this was Nate's night. He came into the UFC as a young kid and leaves the octagon as a certified legend. To the people saying how can you call a 50/50 fighter a legend, this is not the sport for you. We dont back up just the undefeated guys. What we really want to see is these guys fighting their heart out in the face of adversity, win lose or draw. Thats what's inspiring to the audience, and thats what makes these guys modern day gladiators. And there's none bigger than Nate. Thanks for the memories champ

A "Push", this ain't WWE. You go on a win streak and climb your way to #1 contender. Then you get a championship match. I love Nate, but he never really had a good fighting record, similair to Cowboy Cerrone. He started off 1-1, won 4 in a row, lost1, went 5 in a row, then lost 3 out of 4. Then he only won 10 of his last 18 fights counting tonights. He's an exciting fighter, fan fav, and cool dude. But you don't get no push, you push yourself to #1, and then to a championship.

People make fun of him for SEEMING like an out-of-it pothead, but man I realize everytime I see him he's actually an s-tier athlete and a legend. You don't get that durability and fitness at his age to withstand war after war and still be causing trouble to the top guys. Compare him to others, Silva was a legend but his chin and his body started giving out, we saw Rockhold go recently who didn't have the cardio anymore, so many others faded. But he goes out like this. Incredible.

He's not wrong though. Nate has been with the UFC since TUF, he definitely had one of the longest and 'successful' career in the UFC. Dude didn't win any belts but man he was always a crowd favorite, he always generates the numbers for the company, always ready to fight anybody anytime! more than the belts and accolades that is actually a definition of a successful career! a true definition of a Superstar!

People joke about his record but in the last 7 years he beat Michael Johnson, beat McGregor, lost to McGregor in a war and by decision, beat Pettis (who had just killed Wonderboy), lost by doctors stoppage to masvidal, lost to the current champ (who he rocked in the last round), and then finished on a high with a win over another legend in Ferguson. It's a very impressive record.

For Nate, coming into this fight, his camp would have focused on his wrestling, specifically takedown defense, escapes and counters, in preparation for an absolute monster in Khamzat. So I knew his wrestling was going to be that extra bit sharper than Tony's, and it proved to be the decider in the end. Whether either of them choose to make this their last fight, both are legends and were warriors from the beginning till the very end.

Two slugish Kamzat can take them both at the time. Nate Diaz has no cardio smokinng weed for Kamzat Tony is over getting bet recently done. Americans are done over the world with thier tacktics decpetion total collapse. It has been planed this way from the inception of the contract commmer sell on paper vieve. It it by designe they want to keep this crap legend a lengend Nate Diaz Kamzat would distroy him again in round one. Not one UFC show deception in action punishment or treatment like Nganou for example.

@@hellotron9118 The ufc wanted to give him either conor or chimaev, so he took chimaev. he fought mcgregor twice, was booked to fight poirer once and poirer pulled out, and then he wanted poirer over chimaev but the ufc wanted to match him up with someone who was a stylistic nightmare for him. yes, he did avoid khabib but, he had nothing to gain from that fight back then in 2014, khabib had just beaten pat healy via a decision. ever heard pat healy's name before?
