@abespeaks6718 I mean, Jiri really is just a great fighter who has essentially gotten better and better with each fight and has a hell of a chin. Sadly he lost to Alex, but tbh, imo that isn't something that makes him worse or lower in rank, whatever, cause I mean, hes beat EVERYYONE. So holding a loss to him against Jiri wouldn't make sense as he's walked through everyone.

Jiri is like that with everyone he fights, which is exactly why Alex sat him down quick. His style of blocking punches with his chin till his opponents get tired may work with others, but Alex hits to hard. Jiri needs to change it up if he ever wants that belt back in a rematch with Alex.

@@toemasmeemsmax already won the fight by decision, the just go for it mentality they're referencing echoes the comments from Joe Rogan during the commentating of jiri vs alexander, when he keeps saying "disdainful" in reference to the pain jiri is absorbing and fighting thru as if it's nothing. Max on the their hand, won the fight unanimously and wanted to give the ppl what they want, violence, pure violence. He bloodied up gaethje and flattened him out.. crazy. But it was a "just go for it" in the last 10 seconds, whereas jiri approached that fight with that mentality from beginning to end

It could rather be said that any other LHW fighter besides Rakic would have stopped Jiri if he had been hit with such punches. FYI, Jiri said it was lucky Rakic's shots don't have power. Or snap, as he said. Rakic hits like a girl compared to other LHW fighters.
