As a man with bipolar depression and PTSD, paranoia, anxiety problems, and tried to self delete myself 3 times. This is what I've been telling ppl for 5 years since I was 23 after the worst time in my life after the self deletion attempts. After 4 yrs of trying to hide the mental problems I had from the world AND MY FAMILY (WIFE, KIDS, MOTHER, DAD, SIBLINGS, KIDS, ETC). Bcz especially in the black community , we men don't talk about what we're going through. I was self medicating in various ways and come home fukkd up making my sons scared and making them cry, making my wife cry, effecting my family. And that is what we do, we hurt the ppl we love by not talking and holding our issues in. I know personally bcz I've experienced it twice. As a kid my family was severed and destroyed bcz of my father's issues he wouldn't talk about his problems, his struggles, his pain. Then I turned around and did the same and almost lost my family and what's worse is if it wasn't for God they would've lost me as well. Brothers we gotta talk, it literally saves lives and families. I say amen to this! It’s very true, my son is sitting in a crisis center for the same issue. He tried to commit suicide. W this said I’m so very thankful from the bottom of my heart to see him an visit him. I know from his experience, it’s hard because he didn’t talk much about his issue w me. I never knew how bad he was till it was too far. I love all of you out there. I want the best for every one of you! Blessings to everyone out there. I truly hope we all stay blessed.

I understand Paddy's feelings I too almost took my life but it's not easy to talk about it if your going through it, I was saved by a friend but I didn't talk at all he just saw something's not right in me so he offer his time to me, for those who do not understand it's like my friend is courting me to just like how man court woman, I was i tears and my friend give me a pat on the shoulder then hug me the next day I feel light as a feather now imt thankful for everything I have, everything is a bonus to me the fact that I'm still alive is a blessing and to me for now seems nothing can destroy me inside and outside all those dark years of me I battle my own demons but since I was saved I embrace my own demons that's how I feel until today and like a new profound energy that keeps me alive

I worked for a corporate company for many years. Spent tens of thousands of dollars in medical out of each paycheck, like many of us hard working men and women over the years . That no longer matters. The day my facility shut down, we lost our insurance the next day, so they could save whatever peanuts they could salvage. Now I get passed on from doctor to doctor. It’s hilarious, waited for an appointment for 4 months and that would save my life. All they do is call in someone else hand you the same pamphlet that can be found at a Pharmacy or some bullshit infomercial looking to get clicks on the web. The system is flawed and the hard working citizens of this country and veterans get stepped on. Wake up everyone, it’s only going to get worse before it even has a glimpse at getting better. The day we start focusing on our own country and our tax paying citizens and the people paying out of pocket for medical should we start funding people who don’t deserve it in the first place. Unbelievable.
