It would be different if the judges weren't so vaguely different with the penalties in every match. There might be 1 clean slap per match and that's the slap they call a foul. Every club they say is clean. Dudes win by ko with a stepping foul and don't get disqualified. It's a clown show. The day they start to call the fouls right is never going to happen so this clown show will never be bigger than any real sport.

The coin toss is the biggest flaw of power slap. If someone ko someone on first slap, the guy should get 3 mins recoup time and get to deliver a return slap. If he can ko the guy back it’s a draw if not he loses.

Should also be a 1 inch beard limit or no beard. Bare face rule. So the slap is more real. The beard is padding and hides the chin n cheek so it’s harder to hit clean.

The first match shows that they clearly need a change to the rules. Being able to win simply for winning a coin flip is bullshit. Unless you are taken out of there on a stretcher you should have an opportunity to strike. If you can't knock them down for as long as you were down then you take the loss.

@@johnattwood8467 I actually kind of did explain it. Time how long it takes them to get back up on their feet, give them a few minutes get their bearings, then allow them a chance to strike. If they can't knock down the first man to strike for a longer time then they loose. But loosing a slapping contest because they couldn't win a game of chance is bullshit. They could also come up with a way to qualify. They could basically have something like one of those machines that measure the force of a punch modified for slapping. Give each contestant 3 slaps and average them together. Whoever has the highest number gets to go first. At least that takes the complete randomness out of it. As is it tarnished his record for something he had zero control over. The first person to slap always has a huge advantage. There needs to be processes in place to even the playing field. If they want to just call this sport aggressive gambling that is one thing, but if this becomes common place this sport will never be taken seriously.
