I remember i was 12 in 1994 when UFC 1 came out to rent on VHS. everytime my older brother and i visited our father he let us rent it. Must have rented it at blockbuster over 5 times. Became a life long MMA hardcore fan ever sence.

@@snyder_fine_artI think there is a bigger story as those two men wasn't mentioned at all and had a once off fight as Co main. As far as I am aware both still alive and both should have fuaght in ufc2 however only one did.

I don't think I've ever re-watched an entire UFC event, just some fights here and there, but I have watched UFC 1 about 5-6 times cause that was SUCH a special event and the start of it all, with a bunch of crazy and exciting fights.

Amazing to see the original greats reunite after all these years! Animosity and egos aside. Older. Humbler. Wiser. And, as it seems, just grateful to be around and alive - and to be able to get the chance to reunite with each other, perhaps for the last time, not as enemies, competitors, or rivals defending their dojos and disciplines, but as pioneers, contemporaries, and friends bound by the same spirit, honor and respect for a sport, a league, under one banner, now celebrating each other’s legacies in each other’s company as brothers. True Ultimate Fighting Champs! P.S. I still remember watching UFC 1 on a bootleg VHS tape that my friend (jiu-jitsu teacher and trainer) brought back to Manila from Chicago! 😅
