He quite literally fought an animal Jon Jones and a true Hunter understands that one day he will become the prey. Some rise to the challenge and make it out with a win others die in the glory. Stipe died in the glory. Fought Jon Jones went 3 rds with him at the age of 42 whereas Gane went 1 round with 30 seconds of full action. Coulda likley beat most others in the weight class.

Stipe accomplished so much in that octagon. For what? Fans and ufc always treat him like shit just cuz hes quiet and doesnt like to add build up to his fights. But he got in there fought some of the best, defended and delivered. Always been a Stipe fan, so much casual talk these days but thats as casual as you can get when you overlook fighters just because they dont sell the fight like Connor. What a joke.. he got screwed but only true fans of the sport got your back Stipe

Old fighters. Tyson in his prime would have endless stamina, speed and power that would end the life of that childish loser within one round. Miocic was just hesitant the whole time. Even when he attacked he was slow and not as fast or strong as he used to be. Plus Jones knew his style very well. Maybe Miocic was tired because Trump held up the fight.

@BestTrader-hp2sd I think his presence stalled the event a bit, maybe due to security checking things out first because fights don't usually go this late in the US, and I thought the event would have finished sooner instead due to it being in the East Coast time zone.

So happy that Stipe is out and done. He literally checked out of the sport 3 yrs ago. Additionally, his attitude during fight week said it all. MMA is both physical and psychological. Stipe was there physically but not mentally. On top of that, he was fighting the greatest fighter in the sport at the absolute top of his game. This is why Stipe lost in the fashion that he did. His age played a very small role in this. In my opinion, he was there for the paycheck only and not legacy.
