As a translator myself, I feel compelled to point out these bigger errors made by the Japanese translator: 2:00” Translator didn’t understand the terminology in this question. Instead, she translated it as …どういう展開を予想していますか, which means, “How do you foresee the match playing out?” 2:25” Taira-san said, 三ラウンドぐらいで仕留める試合をしたいです＝In this fight, I’ll take him down / stop by around the third round. 3:17”
Translator didn’t understand the word “hesitancy.” It’s 躊躇. Instead, she asked Taira-san how he's feeling to be on the main card. 4:00” Translator replaced “finish [him]” with “after this fight.” 4:50” “Work on making UFC more popular in Japan” was added by the translator for no reason.

I've been to Japan a bunch and tatsuro definitively has that Okinawa islander vibe. Way more expressive than the mainlanders. That said, hopefully he can do what gomi could not and win a championship.
