This video was really intriguing. Duane does have extremely unique knowledge in terms of Stand-up fighting AS WELL AS takedown defense. He's teaching this to fighters who are already ridiculous grapplers and takedown artists, who are also VERY athletic. Perfect combination of coach and fighter(s).

Of course you are right in that they have lost before, and they hold no titles. But since Ludwig joined their team, they've gone 17-0. Which is pretty impressive imo, belts or no belts.

I hear ya.. sometimes athletes that play get hurt or their family didn't want them competing anymore. In my opinion those guys are the best to go to cause they put everything they have to help you because they love the sport that much..

I was talking creme of the crop MMA fighters and athletes in general, of course thai's have the best muay thai and that's why the americans are there in the first place but I was talking about overall baddass is the Americans, I'm Australian myself, Tiger Muay Thai and Phuket Top Team are the two I've trained at

Woah, cool vid. Always knew Ludwig was a great technician. Think he fell short himself when it came to the muscle factor. But it's awesome he has the personal ability to teach so well in that environment. Go hard Duane!!

As another example, in soccer Jose Mourinho was hardly an amazing player and could barely break it as a pro, yet he is an incredible coach and is widely considered one of the best today. Someone doesn't need to have the abilities to be able to teach, they just need to understand.

Lost me on an accumulator though put 1st round i didn't buy the trash talk, i thought cody's boxing experience would allow him to deal with cruz's style but i didn't think it'd be a decision thats for sure. Cruz seemed a bit slow to me not as sharp as usual but that was probably due to cody and his movement i'll have to rewatch to see the subtleties.

Think it's the same like in football (soccer)...the best coaches often didn't even play in the first league. It's more about your mind than muscles or pure athletic skill.

I've done 8 months in two of the top gyms in thailand and USA is tougher, thailand has crazier training but the guys in the US are the creme of the crop

That would be hella tight if they could pull that off!! I think that the future for Alpha Male at 125 looks especially bright due to Joseph Benavidez's ever increasing skill set. Joe B-Wan Kenob put Jussier Formiga down like a dog i cant wiat for him to rematch Mighty Mouse but hes taking his time and getting better every day. ALPHA MALE!!!!!

I think now it should be (in chronological order): - Aldo vs. Lamas - Pettis vs. Grant - Swanson vs. Mendes - Pettis vs. Aldo - Swansons/Mendes winner vs. Pettis/Aldo winner Of course that is if Pettis is allowed to hold 2 belts if he wins.

Don't you love that now that these guys may actually have a chance to win a title people like them? Lets be honest tho not one of them has had a title shot since Ludwig got their and all these guys are true gatekeepers at heart. Although I will be rooting for Chad when he fights Aldo.
