His story from being a rookie, quitter, having kids, getting motivation from it, then being one of the best sub artist of all time and becoming a champ, then losing to someone as good as him and getting back on track from a loss... That truly is a one hell of a character development.

Nah Werdum & Maia are vastly superior to Charles in terms of skill. Charles isn’t even a top 3 BJJ fighter, top 5 for sure but he has been out bjj’d multiple times.

Never saw that shot of Charles breaking down after beating Benny So appropriately emotional Coming off a loss. Went in an underdog. Probably had alot of doubts. I was doubting and was worried whether or not he was at the end or whatever Man was it great to find out he wasn't I called that night the best night in Mma recently. Aside from when he won the belt.

One of, if not my favorite fighter in the UFC. Dude is a legit warrior and is super skilled in all aspects. He should never have been stripped of his title and should have gotten an immediate rematch with Islam if he had wanted it. He’s def got the capability to beat Islam. He’s got better striking and his ground game is DANGEROUS. Hence being the record holder for wins and submissions in the UFC. Can’t wait to see him fight for a title again. He deserves it.

Honestly, his win streak is arguably one of the most impressive in UFC history. The dude goes on a killing spree and takes out Kevin Lee, Ferguson, Chandler, Gaethje, Poirier and Dariush. All of them were at the top of the division and in their prime too. Not only that, but every one of those wins was incredibly dominant, with the majority being finishes. Ridiculous. 😵💫
