You should make a regular series out of this guy's analysis. He's great at explaining and highlighting small things. Loved the entire video. This feels like a F1 Jolyon Palmer's analysis video, which I always adored.

I suspect Jan strikes the way he does because he doesn't have the flexterity in his neck/shoulders. So when he throws, he's getting a lot of chained kinetic energy, purely because of the mechanics of his body bc of the stiffness in his upper body. Jan has a forward extended neck, there's a tremendous amount of pressure on your neck/spine/shoulder muscle/skeletal structure when your neck is like that. That's what hurt him with Glover, Glover yanking on the neck. This is something I wish we saw from people more. You can burn out peoples shoulders, thus arms by just cranking on the neck. Pull/push the neck/head forward and you're also crushing the jaw into their own chest, crushing the windpipe, it's not fun. Everyone is susceptible, but people with forward head/necks are even more. And I'm telling you...yank, push, pull...get on top crank that neck so the chin is being crushed into the chest. Disrupts the breathing too. Best case for them, their arms just burn out. It's a very odd feeling because you don't know what happened, you just have nothing in your upper body. Obviously the head/neck is not something to just mess around with, you can get hurt or hurt somebody else so be careful.

He is definitely awesome. It is very difficult to though move through space with intent and power to a place a splint of a second. That is pure intuitive reflex. So if your body says to protect your head and also attack that is definitely good. However if you face a opponent who can move just as fast and his head is up..that is how you lose. So that’s why it is a slang term for “swimming”.. your hoping too keep breathing

@@MntRprznt Idea theft exists everywhere, sir. Monopolies have nothing to do with acknowledging an inspiration (it doesn't help the UFC strong armed Luke for using fight footage then jacked his style). I get it... you're a UFC fan, but big corporations do this all the time. They're rich enough that you don't need to defend them.

@@isakdahl7875 You don't have to imagine, but rather than call myself a fan, I'd say I respect his takes and analysis. Now, let's stop moving goal posts. I'm not saying Luke invented sports analysis. I'm saying look at what Luke was doing 4 years ago compared to the UFC and the rest of MMA media and look at what the UFC started doing after they got on his ass for using fight footage.
@MntRprznt
@MntRprznt 2 жыл бұрын
@@AndreGriffiths1 Not only big corps, but small producers too. Theres no sense fighting it, you just need to adapt and assume all you put out there will be copied. And what is it really that was copied? With the development of play by play tech you saw an increase in similar formats - its not Luke that came up with it, he just adapted it to his needs.
