Yea it's one of those things that has a huge gap between "good enough to fight" and 100%. It can be a nagging injury that's never fully healthy again. So far so good, but he didn't really have to test it a lot.

Everyone acting like Stipe already lost, I'm being real about it, I know it's a long shot, I know the overwhelming likelihood is Jones dusts him in the first round. BUT, on the other side, if there was a dark horse for an upset, Stipe is the guy. His boxing is A+, and fight IQ is A+++, he can make in-fight adjustments and win, he's done it several times. If he can find a home for those left body punches he can make another epic comeback win.

Tore my ACL in December of last year in the fight gym. almost 6 months post op. Been waiting to catch Aspinal's return fight. When he says he's different in mind and body, he's not lying. For those of you who don't know, to put it bluntly you really do have to climb from the trenches to get back. It is unbelievably hard, and you have to work EVERY day to make a return like this. its not easy, but with hard work, it works out, and you'll be a better version of yourself when you come out of it. We got to really give this dude credit, because those of you who've gone through it know he busted his ass for the last year. As I'm grinding to make my return, it is so motivational and essential to my mental health to be reminded that with hard work, its gonna be fine. Thanks Tom 👊

Crazy performance.. Even Volkov can’t finish Tybura but Tom finished Tybura in the very first round sooo easily! Tybura is tough, very tough, he was 7/8 before this fight on 3 fights winning streak but Tom was on other level! Cyril Gane vs Tom Aspinal could be a very great match up! Tom already beat Spivak, just crazy..

If anything Almeida should cut the weight like he used to and after the title at LHW. He was there before and he's weighed as little as 229 for HW fights. That's an easy cut to 205. I don't put much stock in his last fight because Big Boy is a slow, aging kickboxer with shit for a ground game.

He is just massive as 258 lbs with that speed as well. He also has very, very good takedown offence, defence and ground and pound. Would be interesting vs Jones. Insane Stipe gets the title shot and not Pavlovich. They just really want to fulfil Jones' wish of facing the best heavyweight every even though he is many years ahead of his prime.
