He wasn't that technical, but he's a good brawler with good boxing. If his head movement and footwork can improve, he'll be a nightmare matchup. Add in leg kicks as range finders and to slow his opponents, he'll possibly be able to clean out the division.

As much as I want Zombie to put this guy in his place you can't discount what he's capable of. He put away Edgar with only one shot. He's heavy handed and good at grappling.

MMA math doesn’t really work, most of the time. That said, TKZ punished Edgar really bad as well, arguably even worse maybe. Ortega packs a punch, but he did hit Edgar with the same uppercut a couple times before that devastating last one. Unless he improved leaps and bounds in his boxing/kickboxing, TKZ is gonna light him up on the feet cause Ortega definitively doesn’t have good enough wrestling to get him down.

He has good jiu Jitsu not grappling. He can't wrestle for shit. Look at this fight with max

@ Edgar took the fight Ortega needs to get respect for that win.

@ Then the same could be said about Zombie's win over him couldn't it? He fought at 155 at the start of his career and became a defending champion and took hits in that division from heavy hitters didn't he?
