Forrest is embarrased about his reaction to beating Shogun but I think it's great, it shows he viewed Shogun as one of the best in the world and measured himself against that skill. He didnt believe he had what it took and surprised even himself.

I remember how disappointed I was at Shoguns UFC debut. Somewhere in that transition he lost something but was still so good he pulled off a championship few yrs later .

His run in the UFC was, inconsistent. He had a meandering run of form early on, looking good in some fights and bad in others until he eventually got his title shot against Machida and won.

Lo de miocic fue una gran Estrategia, el sabia que la pelea estaba a favor de cormier siendo superior en lo rounds pasados, lo que se percató es que el cardio ya no le daba a cormier, entonces solo se enfocó en atacar su estómago para dejarlo sin aire y que se canse más rápido, así fue como en cormier fue vencido casi al último ya sin cardio para defenderse.

*If Brock trained striking and actually sparred instead of just hitting pads, he would have been a long time champion.* He had absurd power, but just didn’t have the confidence to be patient and strike. He would have gained more confidence in taking punches too (he had a good chin). He also joined MMA late, and had no experience. I wish Shane Carwin and Brock got more respect and were able to compete just a few years later.
