On episode #5 of the 7-part fight week series, UFC Embedded, the UFC's biggest stars press their luck. At Zuffa HQ, Dana White takes a call from Nick Diaz, deals with Jon Jones' manager, and gets his long-awaited walking papers. Daniel Cormier visits Cain Velasquez' Ultimate Fighter training session and questions Luke Rockhold's expertise, while Dan Henderson shares an awkward photo with Chael Sonnen. Finally, the UFC 173 main card fighters assemble at Ultimate Media Day for face time with the press and their opponents. UFC Embedded is a new, behind-the-scenes video blog series focusing on the final seven days leading up to the epic UFC 173 Pay-Per-View event.

Whose ever idea this series was better get a raise because these will really help the ufc fan base to better connect with the fighters/ behind the scenes experience. They are also beautifully shot and produced.

michael podger Yeah, Diaz fans like myself could only PRAY for a fucking war like that, but who knows... The UFC is really retarded when it comes to "taking care of" their fighters. Unless you're a brown-nose like Bones Jones or a suckup like Anderson, then they will take you higher than you can imagine... But if you are a realist, a straight up hitter, just trying to get PAID, like my boy Diaz, then the UFC / Dana just says, "Fuck You...!" Anyway, yeah I hope it was about fighting Brown, but who knows, he could have also been just trying to get tickets for this weekend, lol.

Jon Jones is obviously wiser than the UFC hoped for having a manager sit in at meetings. Hopefully see more fighters clued up this way, rather than sucking up to the UFC thinking them giving them a fight is a favour or something.

Rob Jenkins I'd love to see it. I think Nick Diaz would take it too. Yes, he wants the biggest name popular, but you'd struggle to find guys with more buzz/excitement around them than Brown right now. Plus, Diaz wont have to deal with what he hated about fighting GSP, no way Brown's gonna go to the mat.

I wonder what Lorenzo is taking to be that jacked. Testosterone in men starts dropping in their late 20's - early 30's. Lorenzo is now 45. My best guess is probably testosterone, EQ, HGH, and maybe some additional stuff.

Rogan, Dana, and Lorenzo are all probably on TRT. Just because it's restricted for fighters doesn't mean it is for others. They're likely using it under doctor's guidance just to keep a healthy T level and maintain fitness but movie actors getting on in age i.e. Hugh Jackman use this shit to get huge all the time

dana has been by saying barao is the best p4p fighter in the world leading up to this but most people think dillashaw is going to get beat pretty easily so they're focusing on what they think will be the more competitive fights. real fight fans are excited for it though, and that's all that really matters.

If Dana and the UFC staff can pump these out on a regular basis, unlike Fight Week, Blog Week, then they've really got something on their hands. Also, odd that the focus is primarily on DC/Hendo, not Barao/TJ. Wonder if that's a language/translation issue, or a matter of more excitement for the co-main.
