Alvarez juggles media obligations in his hometown of Philadelphia (complete with guest appearance by the Rocky statue) leading up to his UFC debut; Cerrone relaxes in Las Vegas via wakeboarding and working out. Featherweight contender Conor McGregor takes his larger-than-life persona on a press tour in Los Angeles, keeping up the trash talk against UFC 178 opponent Dustin Poirier. Across the country, Poirier makes his final preparations to head to Las Vegas for the moment of truth. UFC Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog series focusing on the days leading up to the UFC 178 Pay-Per-View event headlined by the flyweight title bout between Demetrious Johnson and Chris Cariaso on Saturday, September 27th.

Cerrone really has the perfect lifestyle. I thought that years ago. They always show him shooting guns, or riding horses, or wakeboarding, or mudding in monster trucks. Cowboy really lives an active life and I wish I was the type of person who could get into a lifestyle like that. Cerrone could have his own show on the outdoor network, really.

coming back to rewatch this embedded after the UFC 205 one is actually pretty crazy, it’s been such a journey for conor, lots of bumps along the way but nevertheless still an amazing journey.

I used to respect Connor when I first saw him last year.....He said he was blown away he is fighting for the UFC because the month prior he said he was collecting welfare cheques and living terribly, and I thought he was a good role model as I am on welfare and struggling alot in life right now....then I found out he was the champion of some smaller organizations and he has money and people to help. Oh well, not to many people with my life,I sometimes starve so he can eat,thats pain.

agreed, while im rooting for dp in all fairness dustin has a bit of an advantage on the feet because hes better at pressuring opponents against the cage, connor has always been given room to work, not saying hes a bad striker he just hasnt dealt with too much adversity standing up. but once dustin gets him to the ground i would have to say that it is over hes too explosive and technical and his transition wrestling is going to be too much for connor to handle. even if its mcgregor on top i still think that dp has the advantage
