On episode #2 of UFC 182 Embedded, Daniel Cormier and his kids review the importance of his impending title fight before he heads to Las Vegas. Light heavyweight champion Jon Jones also arrives, stopping for pictures with fans before taking his pet cat for a walk. Days out from his moment in the co-main event, lightweight Donald Cerrone is thrill-chasing in Vegas on an aerobatic flight. Then the fight week media duties begin for the men in the spotlight. UFC Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog series focusing on the days leading up to the hotly-anticipated UFC 182: Jones vs. Cormier event, taking place Saturday, January 3, on Pay-Per-View.

Alltilt Yep, for his first couple years in the UFC he tried to have a more traditional approach but it actually made him more tense and uncomfortable. He finally realized that he needs to just relax and live the way he normally lives. Ever since then he has been on a roll.

i met Cormier back in 2012 Jones v. belfort. everytime he walked by me any my friends we screamed his name and shook his hand. Probably did it 6 times and this guy was smiling so happy the entire time lol

horslems STFU he lost the fourth round. You don't judge a round by minute. So you're saying in five minutes if a guy has barely won 3 out of five in the round he has already won and there's no way the other guy can win. If you were to watch it on the streets and one dude was landing some half decent shots but nothing major and not damaging the other dude too much then all of a sudden the guy returns and blasts the guy he starts bleeding, is wobbled, and starts running away while getting knees and more elbows I would say the dude in the last minute won easily. Gus nearly got finished in that round. Which round did he ever come close to that?

I really think Cormier can pull this one off. A lot of people say Jones is the GOAT, invincible etc, but remember Vitor almost beat him, Gus almost beat him, even Chael almost beat him!! And Vitor/Chael are both middleweights Cormier is a freaking heavyweight. Get it done DC

Clev Eland Impairing the opponent's vision is always an advantage. Anyone trying to say differently is obviously a blind (no pun intended) nuthugger and has definitely never ever fought or trained striking himself.
