Connor had a terrible weight cut...he looked more depleted and fucked up than ever before during the weigh ins and then walking out to the ring you can tell he was off and STILL really depleted. Even here well after the fight he is extremely lean/dry compared to how he normally looks and notice the color of his skin during the fight and during this interview is a really flat pale color. I can't imagine him going through this cut to 145 again unless aldo comes back. The bad weight cut is why he got so emotional and unlike himself after the fight and during the press conference. He was on the verge of death lol. He was gassed after 3 minutes of the 1st but still pulled it off....just a crazy fight and overall crazy card, maybe the best. This is just what the UFC needed.

My favourite CM interview i've watched (and i've seen a load). Probably because, at the point where he could be the most arrogant, and non-humble - after the win - he's actually being the most humble and least arrogant i've ever seen him. Lol. He really knows how to play up that character in the lead up to an event. One thing I will say about CM : he really is a good businessman. Knows when to build up tension, and when it's over, knows how to let it pass by because it's no longer useful for marketing, etc. Pretty smart really.

I kind of the whole trash talk cocky attitude is an act and this is his real personality. I think he knows he needs a overblown persona to sell the fight but afterwards he seems surprisingly humble in his victory. Anyways that's what I like to tell myself because I don't like his trash talk.

He trash talks to get into him opponents heads and crush them mentally making them want to destroy his persona, not his body. He does NOT get emotionally involved with his fights, he shows up, he dominates, takes his money and leaves. Which is why he is so confident. He is almost like the Floyd Mayweather of MMA, in the sense that he will never take risks that could potentially lose him a fight. These are all FACTS.
