Leg kicks are what ppl who don't know shit point out because they cant see the intricacies unfolding. Jose is a more cerebral and mentally composed fighter than pretty much anyone in the ufc, including Conor. Cardio has been a weakness but Conor's never been past three so they'll be pretty even in that regard if it goes deep. If Jose fought Siver, Brandao, Brimage he would've finished them all too but if Conor fought the comp Aldo has he would've lost not won decisions.

If Aldo decided to move forward it's not necessarily a good idea, Conor can fight moving backwards well(see his fights against ivan buchinger and marcus brimage) and since he has a longer reach aldo will have to constantly over-extend to land shots on a retreating mcgregor which will actually leave him slightly more open to a counter.

+MMA MMA I think the aspect of balance is more helpful in Conors movement because it is unorthodox and resembles the kinds of imbalances you might see in the octagon, because of you willll have to be off balance from kicks and take downs all other kinds of stuff. Soccer is good for balance as well, but I think more so for balancing while running and juking around opponents. Though in soccer you kind of have to react quickly to your opponent to run past them and be explosive as well. IDK, both have their pros and cons.
