Jon Jones' return to the Octagon was a success. Jones defeated Ovince Saint Preux by unanimous decision to earn the light heavyweight interim belt.

Watching back on this. And I like how people say Jones didn't show much when he just destroyed this guy every single round of the fight. 50-44 and this is considered a bad performance.
@yourlordandsaviouryeesusbe29985 жыл бұрын
Well what do you have to say about his performance against Thiago Santos? Now Dana White has revealed that Santos had a bunch of injuries in his leg, including a torn ACL, MCL and meniscus. Despite that he won on one of the Judges' scorecard, and the other two had him winning two rounds. I'm not saying the PEDs have anything to do with this lackluster performance, but you have to wonder if it's a coincidence that both the times he was confirmed to be clean, he put up below par performances. By his usual standards, I mean. One against OVS and now against Santos. I hope I'm wrong though. I hope this recent performance was only a result of him being overly cautious...
@JordanDove245 жыл бұрын
@@yourlordandsaviouryeesusbe2998 Jones was way too cautious I feel like. I think Jones leg was hurt early as well from those leg kicks. Also the fear of getting knocked out. Everyone knew Thiagos only chance was to knock Jones out. I feel like Jones played a very safe fight. Jones dominated Smith and Gustaffson. I feel like he was playing a safe cautious fight to avoid Santos knockout power.

Not the usual Jones,but still not exactly a scrub. The guy is still a beast, and naturally there's some rust to shake off, but good fight non the less. Every credit to OSP too, dude got the fight of a life time and went up against possibly the greatest to ever step in the Octagon and managed to go 5 rounds. Jones was super tentative dealing against a guy with power, I wonder if he'll be the same against Rumble,or if he'll just use the blueprint that DC put out there.

Bro while Joe Rogan was Interviewing Jones, after Jones thanks Jesus Christ look at how fast Joe pulls the Mic away. didn't even let the guy finish what he was saying. damn.

OSP is in some serious pain, I think Jones broke a few bones there.
