Hometown fighter and Rockhold opponent Michael Bisping enjoys an alfresco massage and reacts to his wife’s new hair color. Bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz trains his dog then makes his way to his own temporary Los Angeles residence, while his challenger Urijah Faber and team travel to their hotel via party bus. UFC 199 Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog leading up to two championship rematches at UFC 199: Rockhold vs. Bisping 2, taking place Saturday, June 4 on Pay-Per-View.

If you've ever fought or even sparred with longer hair it's mad annoying. It shakes around when you dodge and gets in your eyes at times. Not saying it's enough to say you lost to fight because of it, but definitely a disadvantage.

Most fighters with long hair tie it up though, and if you're gonna be a fighter and you know long hair can make training irritating or as he seemed to be inferring that it made the shots Cruz landed look worse than they were, surely you would just keep it short in camp and at fight time?

Hmm, I don't know. That would be the best idea, especially for defensive fighting. (For example ; Mayweather, that guy is bald and his dodging looks really smooth) but I'd also get why he wouldn't want to cut it as he only fights maybe around 2-3 times a year and the rest of the time he'd like to have longer hair.

I love embedded! Make them longer and incorporate vlog video from the fighters tell one of their friends too carry around a go-pro edit that in as well. If no-one wants to do it I'll do it!

It is a good move though. Part of the reason Gus gets the raw deal in decisions is because once his hair gets wet and he gets punched it flies all over the place and makes it look worse than it is.
