Күн бұрынOn Episode 6 of UFC 199 Embedded, bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz, his challenger Urijah Faber, middleweight champion Luke Rockhold and his challenger Michael Bisping strip down and sweat out their final pounds. On Friday morning, the fighters step on the scale at a morning weigh-in staged by the California State Athletic Commission. They’re then free to recover before the public weigh-in event that includes faceoffs between both sets of bitter - and rehydrated -- rivals. UFC 199 Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog leading up to two championship rematches at UFC 199: Rockhold vs. Bisping 2, taking place Saturday, June 4 on Pay-Per-View.

I am glad they still do the weigh-ins though. Even if it is just for show due to the new CSAC rules. It just wouldn't be the same without that last staredown and all of that awesome energy right before the fights. Plus, it helps the fighters a lot in my opinion. Win-win scenario.

I might not like Bisping as a person but, there is way too many things to respect from him. All the hell, poverty he endured before becoming a Champion are something that not many would be able to endure. I do not wish anything negative to him. He loves his family, he stays in shape, has one of the best recuration cardios in UFC for a reason. As much as I like Rockhold, Bisping deserves to be a champion for as long as he can be.

Agree...it's messing with the system since technically the weight classes are supposed to be exactly in a certain range. Also, if the other fighter does the same thing, you might as well just call it a 205 fight and both save the aggrevation. Meh, either way, glad to see this new California thing.

I like this new weigh in format, although it makes the actual live weigh in pointless, I'm glad the fighters get to put on weight for a extra half a day

i thought it was a bit strange that Rogan was very quick in announcing the weights. Didn't know they pre-weigh before the 'weigh in'. Is this new procedure? or was it necessary for some logistics issue? Good to see the fighters look full in the face and not gaunt.

"Garlic cheese bread for sure."-- Luke Rockhold hours after weigh-in and 1 day before fight. May seem harmless but it clearly represented where his mindset was at---and it wasn't at championship level as we all witnessed Saturday night at the Forum. Instead of finishing every detail like a true champion he was finished like a B level fighter.

The energy between Crus-Faber is so different to that of Rockhold-Bisping. What an amazing card this is going to be. I'm going with Faber by TKO in the second and Rockhold by submission in the first.
