Middleweight champion Michael Bisping looks to defend his crown for the second time against one of the greatest mixed martial artists in history, Georges St-Pierre who makes his comeback after four years away from the sport in the main event. In the co-main event, former training partners turned bitter rivals will settle the score when bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt clashes with TJ Dillashaw and strawweight powerhouse Joanna Jedrzejczyk chases Ronda Rousey’s record for most successful title defenses in the women’s divisions when she meets Rose Namajunas.

If I remember correctly it was Henderson who almost finished Bisping twice in that last fight. Henderson barely had a scratch on him while Bisping was a bloody mess, and not just Diaz style from scar tissue.

I have been listening to Mike Goldberg since the UFC became half way legit when I was just a little squirt. I was and still am furious that they replaced him, with fucking John Anik and how little Rogan fought for his counterpart. I have had little respect for most people in the UFC ever since.

If bisping wins that would mean he would have the most wins in UFC history, be a former TUF winner, current middleweight champion with wins against GSP, Anderson Silva, Luke Rockhold, Dan Henderson under the belt and all undernaibly while fighting clean and pretty much with 1 eye at the tail end of his career. Nick Diliberto the size difference doesn't make up for the skill gap in grappling abilities. gsp will literally lay on bisping 5 rounds and theres nothing bisping can do about it. I love mike and listen to the believe you me podcast every week but betting on a guy who has been dominated by decent grapplers like tim kennedy in a fight against one of the best grapplers this sport has ever seen is a foolish waste of money.

I wouldn't write Rose off that easily. She's tough as nails, has great submissions & has been doing a lot of training and sparring with Valentina Shevchenko (aka the woman that beat Joanna 3 times)

Training a few months with Valentina won't help her much. She needs more time. JJ is a different fighter now, just like Valentina. I doubt rose will be able to get JJ in a grappling match, much less get her back. Stand up, no chance in hell. I don't see any holes that she can exploit from JJ, JJ has fought stronger more technical women.

We'll see, I feel like Namajunas has the potential to become champion, whether or not she's already there is another question. If she's in a great place mentally and can put all her skills together I feel like she can take Joanna in the later rounds.

GSP has fought a few of both. I mean at one time Jimmy Hendrix was considered an elite wrestler and a knock out artist. Condit was a pretty scary dude, Thiago Alves, BJ Penn, and Matt Hughes were all killers. GSP constantly took on and dominated the top contenders of his division. Bisping hasn't attempted to fight any of his top contenders, and has instead beat a washed up Henderson.

Victor Trejo Well that’s just not true 😂😂😂 god that’s hilarious. He beat Henderson 4 rounds to 1. 2 knockdowns does not win you a 5 round fight. And he beat Silva 4 rounds to 1. Silva knockdown was the only thing he did.
