I wanted Stipe to win... My gut said Stipe would win... But out of fear I was sure that Ngannou would get the rnd 1 KO... Stipe proved all the doubters like me wrong. Including Dana and his genetically engineered Cameroonian terminator!

Mike Tython I honestly had no clue who would win because Francis is young to the game and an extra ordinary talent...but I couldnt help to think that Stipe was such a battle hardened Champ...That first round had me as a OG fan of MMA since UFC1 super tense and thrilled. Great night for MMA from both promotions. Take care.

Appreciate your opinion...Dana needs to support his fighters...they work too hard and it damn near brought tears to my eyes to see the undisputed Heavyweight Champ of the organization snatch that belt from that hater and give it directly to his main coach. Such a stand up move that I can relate to. Peace.

there's alot of holes in Francis' game miocic almost didn't get a chance to expose them if he had gotten cracked but Jesus Christ to survive that crazy animals onslaught says everything you need to know. that's what a champ looks like, versatile and completely solid across the board, not just Ford focus at full speed strong, with very little gas tank.

therealist811 naa bron the best player on planet earth, KD the closest second. Stipe definitely underrated, but that's cuz danas a scumbag who gives him no marketing push cuz he's working to hard to suck the juice out of Conor's nuts If he UFC promoted stipe as much as they do less deserving champs his talent would be equal to his notoriety

It’s true. What’s so funny about that? He blew his gas tank trying to go for the KO and he knows it. I like Stipe and I actually had him for the win but don’t you think it’s a little odd that just a couple of days ago half of you were talking about how he was gonna go to sleep and this and that. Now everyone all the sudden is laughing at a stupid ass comment like this? It’s a common mistake for a fighter to go a little too hard looking for a knockout. Sometimes it pays off and you get what happened in the Overeem fight, sometimes you don’t catch the guy the way you wanted to and you get what happened here in the Miocic fight. What’s funny about the guy realizing where he screwed up and stating it?

No surprises here. Never doubted him for a second. I found it funny that everybody was so Hyped for Naganou, don't know what all the fuss is about since Overseem has proven throughout his Career he's got NO CHIN. Stipe is high Caliber, the only Heavyweight that can take him out is a Healthy Cain Velazquez or Daniel Cormier if he decides to go up. Not only do you need to be Big, but you have to be Highly skilled to be able to put up a fight against Stipe.
@balbin0329
@balbin0329 7 жыл бұрын
Nobody ever beat DC in HW division. Besides the fact he wanted to Fight John Jones, the only other reason he wanted to move down a Division is cause he didn't wanna Fight Cain. Stipe is Great no Doubt, but nobody beats a Healthy Cain. I think your right about DC though, he's worked to Hard to make weight at 205, so I don't think he moves up for Stipe. That being said, Nobody is taking that Belt away from Stipe. They don't have anybody I'm the HW Division to contend against Stipe. That's why Nganou was being overhyped in this Fight 😂😂😂😂😂
@balbin0329
@balbin0329 7 жыл бұрын
My thoughts exactly. I just don't think DC would go for it. In his heart of hearts i think he's still hoping for a 3rd fight with Jon Jones.

Shutting Wrestling 😂😂😂😂😂 His Chin was always Suspect. If you look at his Stance he's always shelled and Clinched protecting his Face. A few Years ago some dude they called the Ice Man put that Chin to the Test. This was at Lightheavyweight. 😉 Ben Rothwell and a few others on the UFC roster fucked him up pretty good also back when the Division was alot more Competitive. Bahdr Hari put him in his place in the Rematch. Chin was suspect throughout his Career kiddo, anyone who can Stand up with Overeem can beat Overeem let alone a old washed up Steroid free Overeem.

Werdum can't get stipe to the ground, stipe is a much better striker than werdum, stipe took two years off MMA to get his golden gloves. He's no joke, he landed more strikes in the first round vs Francis aswell.

Stipe is a cool guy. I haven't watched any of his interviews but now I understand he's very humble. It's a pity he's 38 years old, he would have shown more in the UFC.

PV1230 american? What is that. So,his parents,both immigrated to US from Croatia and he was born there and that makes him American ? Define American...no such thing dude. If it wasnt for Stipe(real croatian name),all the pussified white boys in US would not have anyone to represent white men in US..so you are welcome

Ivan Novak So if someone is born and raised in Croatia their whole life, went to school there and started a family there then they're not Croatian if their parents are from another country? Strong logic

Yeah, those are things you can learn instantly. The only technique he learnt in his 31 years is to swing wildly, but now he'll learn everything else in a few weeks. He's been exposed and fear and doubt will fuck with his mind.
