Күн бұрын

In this episode John and Dan preview the UFC 245 main event between Champion, Kamaru Usman, and challenger, Colby Covington. Having terrorized the Welterweight division since 2015, Kamaru Usman’s ten-fight winning streak culminated this March, with a stunning demolition of Tyron Woodley. And now, in his first title defense, he faces a rowdy rival, who has walked-the-walk and talked-the-talk. Colby Covington’s own impressive rise in the division, has seen him prove beyond doubt his championship calibre, and now, he gets his shot at the undisputed title. Will Covington’s dream become a Nigerian nightmare or will Chaos reign at UFC 245?

Its a shame he didnt want to settle in states and pick up the accent a bit, i would love him to take over ALL of Dominic "littlemansyndrome" Cruz's commentary gig. Dan Hardy is hella humble for such a good analyst whereas Cruz's seems to talk down to everyone without actually being able to string more than a few sentences together at a time.

I get it, Colby looked good vs Robbie (who lost like 4 of his last 5) but Usman straight dominated Woodley at his own game. To me, that was way more impressive.
@va8418
@va8418 5 жыл бұрын
Jeff Justiniano yeah but woodley wasn’t even on his game, I still think usman would’ve beat woodley if he was focused but woodley wasn’t his usual explosive self, it made usmans win over him a lot less credible for me.
@va8418
@va8418 5 жыл бұрын
Dead Man under pressure is when woodley starts to get explosive, he didn’t explode once in the whole 25 minutes of that fight. Usman did outwrestle him though, tyron literally brags about his power in his punches but didn’t even use it once that fight. Woodley was not on his game, like I said earlier usman would’ve still beat him but tyron not being his usual self made it less impressive, for me at least.

Where have you been? Hardy's been back in the USADA pool for awhile now. However, he's not making a comeback, he is only interested in a "Masters" fight - if you will - so to say. He doesn't want to disrupt anyone's career on the way to a title, he just wants to have a challenge that makes sense. So this is no news if you're a hardcore fan that has been following the sport. With that said, I cannot wait to see the outlaw back inside the cage!

I think you're right. I rewatched Colby vs RDA and then watched Usman vs Woodley and started leaning more towards Usman winning. Then I watched Colby vs Lawler and now I'm back to thinking Colby will win lol. Usman is stronger no doubt, I just don't see Colby having to many issues with Usman's striking especially since he has shown he has a forged steel chin. I think Usman would have to overdose on EPO to keep up with Colby. Colby has only been truly tired against RDA, and RDA is a cardio beast himself...
