Henry went from HS wrestling to the Olympics with no NCAA career. He won gold in 2008, the only medal the US got that year. Then on to two different titles in MMA. What a winner and an example to anyone in the martial arts. Best wishes in life after MMA.

@@josiahgonzalez942Khabib and Henry retired for two COMPLETELY different reasons lol. Khabib retired after his father's death because it was his grieving mother's wish. Henry retired coz he was happy with his career at the time and coz it was a negotiating tactic to see if he could get more money (he didn't). Khabib's situation required him to stay true to his word otherwise he would be breaking the promise he made to his mother. Henry's is completely his own choice if he wants to comeback and chase even higher levels of greatness by potentially winning a 3rd title, which is very respectable. Doesn't make him less of a man for doing that at all

Thats the thing about MMA, unlike wrestling or sports where home court advantage can tip the scales fighting isnt dramatically affected by having no crowds. The only in- fight draw back is fighters can now stall without fear of being booed.

Henry dictated the fight, showed more aggression, landed the heavier significant blows, landed more takedowns, had more ground control, DJ may have thrown more strikes but that doesn't win him the fight. Give Henry credit🎖️. Not only did he dethrone a Champion, but he dethroned a Champion with 12 successful title defences. That's incredible.

I feel like you’d have to at that point. As cringe as Cejudo is, he has shown to be incredibly composed in the octagon and has evolved before our eyes with every fight. How he changed his game plan in the middle of the Moraes fight was incredible and he just destroyed the consensus goat of the bantamweight division.
