Cannonier lives up to his name. What a tremendous body change as he progressed within 3 weight classes. Fluffy at heavyweight to great weight loss change at light heavyweight and now into a Killa Gorilla incredible transformation middleweight contender. This guy gives us big boys hope to train and dedicate and turn working out into a lifestyle!!

Izzy has such a long reach you can't pull him into your guard after your dropped. Cannonier will probably drop Whittaker but he will recover because his reach is not a huge advantage like Izzy. Whittaker will win rounds 2 and 3 and win a decision. Pectoral muscle surgery is a big deal to be able to throw big looping shoots.

Whitaker has taken some major damage in his past few fights. He's one of my favorites because he has heart but he's got a tough one in Cannonier.

Exactly, he’s been in back to back wars with Romero where he had a broken hand, he then went on to have a bad abdominal injury, he then got KO’d badly by Izzy and had a close competitive fight with Till, I love Rob and he still has more to give but he’s been struggling recently and I don’t know if he’s gonna be able to take Jared’s shots, I hope I’m wrong though

@H H Kind of hard to compare those two. Ortega was training his striking and overall MMA strategy with a team that was a bit amatuerish. He switched up when he was still young enough to really make some insane improvements. Robert has been training with a good team for a lot longer. He's still young but he has far less wrinkles to add to his game than Ortega had.

I’ve been riding the Cannonier train and Calvin Kattar train for a minute. Cannonier is seriously the dark horse at 185 meanwhile Kattar is the dark horse at 145. Cannonier wins this weekend. (Even tho I don’t want to see whittaker lose)

Cannonier has a power of a cannon punch and obviously has that strength but, Whittaker has the speed and also the power plus his footwork. I got Whittaker for this fight and maybe an Izzy Vs. Whittaker 2 in the future.

The reason why MMA and particularly the UFC is so much bigger and better than boxing nowadays is that we have 2 fights on the same card which are as equally as anticipated by the hardcore. Knowing the magnitude of the main event - that speaks volumes. And we all know this isn't even the most stacked one of the year. Dana and the gang know how to put 7 or 8 barn burners that blow your brains out. Boxing is always about main events and building certain individuals. Rarely do you even see two anticipated fights. UFC doing a tremendous job!

Does it really matter who wins, neither of them is beating Izzy. Whittaker got TKO-ed twice by Izzy and the only thing that's noticable from Cannonier is his power (and we know what Izzy did to the last guy who was a powerhouse)
