Add Calm Francis to the growing list of mythical fighters, which include: karate-stance-motivated McGregor, mentally undefeated O'Malley, sober Costa, full camp Masvidal, short notice Gastelum, bald Ortega, glass-eye Bisping, picogram Jones, no-sparring Holloway, sea-level Cain, hydrated Poirier, round-3 Romero and of course, the deities Ubereem, TRT Vitor and the Undefeated-Undisputed Uncle Chael.

He’s certainly inspirational. That being said, his story is a reminder of how terribly the world treats immigrants from third-world countries. Obviously US capitalists adore “pull yourself up by your boot straps” stories about individual effort and dedication, but they purposefully ignore the blatant evidence of horrible human rights violations. People are being left for dead just for trying to cross a border and no one seems to even notice. Even Francis himself is aware of the fortune he had in actually making it into Red Cross territory. Think about the amount of people who weren’t that lucky.

Not too much to do at this point in his career besides a rematch with Francis. Best retire now or after the next fight. If he would fight some1 else, he should fight Curtis. There may be 3 African champions, but Francis had the toughest journey by far. Adesanya and Usman moved at younger ages with support of family. Usman to America, Adesanya to New Zealand. Francis took a crazy journey on his own, taking months just to get to France and then from there, well listen to him tell it on Rogans podcast. It really was an inspirational journey that took a lot of heart, dedication and self-belief. And even how well he speaks English nowadays. Gawd damn. Brazilians and Russians, aside from Khabib, learn from this guy. He's giving soooo many long and great interviews because he speaks so well. When it's through a translator, it just isn't worth listening to, tbh.

Jones gotten beaten in a technical kick boxing match which is his own game by Reyes. Ngannou technique wise is nowhere near Jones. Jones wrestling and kickboxing are levels and levels above ngannou. Ngannou improved so much. In the first round i was so shocked to see his improvement since the last fight. No rushing, stable play ,great footwork including some leg kicks and man o man, that takedown defence. Just lit 🔥. This shows how much he got better. He literally meant it when he said, that when he sees the last fight with miocic ,he doesn't recognise himself. What a man, and what a comeback.

Congratulations to Francis, long time coming but he got it done. I don't believe anyone will stop him,not for a while anyway. I've been watching UFC since the beginning and there's not another fighter I've watched where I get that scared feeling for the opponents well being lol.. literally. Rumble Johnson is the only other one that came close to giving me that. When he hits someone I hold my breath, crazy power
