What impressed me the most out of this whole card was how articulate and well spoken Masvidal is just 5 minutes after being knocked out completely unconscious.

From Miami backyard fights to the international big leagues, Jorge's journey has been a a blessed one. Losing to Usman doesn't mean that it's the end for him, he still has more to accomplish. Win or lose, he handles it like a true sport and I will always be a huge fan of him. Forever BMF.💯

Watch his fights, he never stands like that, he was over confident and worried about the shot. Usman threw that spread out like an idiot, had his chin been tucked that would have hut the forehead and George would have had that straight counter timed. Nate would have got george the same way had not the ref stopped it and usman the first time if George wasn't super cautious because of 6 days. Marty is on the same run as Tryon Woodley, Colby will wrestle him up because marty thinks he is mike Tyson now, drinking the kool aid and posing as an African prince lol.

Or just move his head with the punches to avoid damage. But that mostly works for hooks and haymakers. But Usman hit him straight, and u can only slip or block it. And there is a fear of being taken down as well. So i think Masvidal still gets ragdolled by Colby, but is definetly in top 10.

I disliked him for a while but he's a very respectful fighter even with the seeming pre-fight bad blood. He even gave props to Ben for the way he took that knee defeat and said great things about Ben after his retirement.

I’m a fan of the sport, and a fan of both guys, tonight was incredible. I hope that Kamaru can bring the championship to Africa in 2022, and defend it as 1 of the 3 kings to capitalize on his storybook career, as for Masvidal, being the veteran that he is, I’m sure he understands his chance at being champion may have passed him by, BUT his time being iconic is still on the horizon. Fans are like fair weather, he just needs another marquee win and they’re lining up for the show all over again. I hope these guys keep their respective legacies enriched.

Looks like Masvidal fights better without a training camp than with a full one! Jokes apart, props to Kamaru Usman. He is a tremendous fighter, and yet again proved that with a strong work-ethic you can overcome any weakness. He knocked out an elite striker with a strike !!!

I can't say enough about this guy. He not only delivered a lights out KO via flying knee to the most annoying fighter of all time but he also gives us awesome post fights. So enjoyable.
