We're witnessing history my friends. This is the second coming of Anderson Silva. Keep in mind Anderson had his title shot in his 2nd fight in the UFC. Izzy had his debut, fought Marvin the first time, fought Brad Tavares, Brunson, Anderson himself, and KG just for the interim belt. Unified against Whittaker, defended against Yoel, demolished Costa and outclassed Marvin. All in three years, almost no punishment inside the cage and is set to defend again this year, almost guaranteed. Crazy.

Great and humble words. As an Italian I was rooting for Marvin but I thoroughly dislike his attitude, both in respect to the first fight and to this one (if he's true that he doesn't admit to losing this either). Up to a certain point I thought that he was just using the narrative of the split decision to push himself in the title picture and though I didn't necessarily like it I understood it as a sad necessity in today's MMA. But after hearing some Interviews it was clear to me that he struggled with accepting an honest loss, and seeing the interaction after this last fight makes me question his mentality even more. Izzy on the other hand is a great fighter and a great personality, it's not true at all that he believes in his own hype and his humble words reflect that. Much love and respect from Italy.

ummm according to the fight stats izzy won the fight with 67 total strikes and 0 takedowns as compared to Vettoris 60 strikes + 2 takedowns. Idk I think both fights were more competitive than a narcissist like Izzy would like to admit. Their 2nd fight was clearly rounds 2,3,5 for Izzy and quite clearly rounds 1 and 4 for vettorri. What do you expect from phony people who would be fans of another phony like izzy. They are casuals it is what it is. The fight stats matter more than the way izzys fans perceive the fight to have gone. If izzy shat in their mouths theyd say it tasted good. Thats how casual fans are.

Marvins up there honestly. Glad to see the champ gave him a shout out for dodging so many headshots. I can’t be the only one that noticed. Marvin has slick head movement but got his leg eaten up

I’m loving all these butthurt excuses. The funniest one is is where the armchair fans are suddenly saying he’s too big to be a middleweight considering he weighs less than all of his opponents. They can’t even form a reasonable excuse that makes sense. And still!!!!

He weighed 183 if I remember correctly and if that’s the case he barely cut anything dude. Izzy is a big guy but he’s not that heavy. You make it sound like he’s walking around 220 lol guarantee he walks around no heavier than 195
