@@Phogramo That also accounts for the large amount of butter she used. Warm butter spreads easier so you need a smaller amount to cover the bread. She was stabbing it and mixing it with a knife trying to warm it up lol.

Lmfao i do what laura does but i basically toast my slices with a little bit of butter both sides of my slices. It prevents the bread from getting soaked....especially if you're making it for people who will eat it later on in the day. Then peanut butter on one slide. Jelly on the other slice. Lol.....kind of like a grilled cheese but it's just a grilled pnb sandwich. my niece and nephew asks me to make it like 4 times a day but i only let them eat it as desert or breakfast lol. Everyone that I've made it for loves it. You all should try it. It takes too much time but it's good....
