@Hello Tron you’re pathetic. Jan never looked sharper. His timing on his counters were unreal. He had an answer for all of izzys tricks, whereas all of izzys other opponents are left mesmerized. He made Izzy look like he didn’t belong.

It's a shame UFC didn't pick up when Jan approached Glover on his birthday and handed him his gift - a beer he is an ambassador for from his hometown in Poland - where his family has worked for generations. Such a great and beautiful moment full of class.

I love how all the fighters, including his opponents show him so much respect. Back in the day during the Chuck years at The Pit, I would constantly hear about him and about how not only what a great of a fighter he is, but how much of a good person he is. You see as he is walking through the hotel, his opponent and all the other fighters come to greet him and just chat about how he is feeling. And Jan is the type of guy, that if he loses, he would be happy for Glover, because he knows that Glover ALWAYS has a chance. I think everyone wants him to be the champ before he retires because he is an OG and never asked (or got) preferential treatment in the MANY years fighting for the UFC.

The UFC does an absolutely magnificent job promoting its sport. The 'week of' promotional videos and interviews are second-to-none in terms of sports promotion. Great fucking job! These 'embedded' videos are always fascinating, and, always, too short. UFC fighters are interesting people, and all very different. Terrific work. Thanks.

One of the best organizations marketing-wise, for sure. Incredible how they've managed to communicate their fighter's personalities to the public, MMA fans... And make us percieve them not only as mixed martial artists but also multi-layered personas, great and/or interesting people, with so many motivation, intellect and overall distinctive stories behind every one of them.

@@josipzurak9378 Yes, extremely impressive. My 'playing days' are long behind me, and I was never really a 'combat sports' fan. I played tennis and basketball, and was a fan of nba basketball and nfl football for all of my life. It was the Khabib-McGregor fight that brought me into the UFC as a fan. And since then, I've been riveted. It amazes me that these athletes chose a sport where they beat the shit out of each other; much more than boxing. The fighters are fascinating; all so different. Even Makachev is different from Khabib who's different from Chimaev. They're not a monolithic group. And there is a big creative brain behind the embedded series. Everything is on-point with those segments; the camera work; the editing; the story-telling; the music; the access. To pull all of that together every week or a couple times a month is exceptionally good.

I definitely think nfl films set the benchmark for a sport creating its own media company. They have so much incredible footage going back years and really great stuff. UFC has taken that approach and it is paying off big time. So many of the fighters have interesting personalities. It’s great to watch

You can tell allot of about fighters mentality when they bump into each other unexpectedly, what Yan and Glover showed in their lobby meeting is how much they respect each other but also how confident they are in themselves that they don't need to play silly games.

He made weight. First attempt off by half a pound probably a miscalculation on his scales, he then came back and made it. Besides Li looks bigger than him, khamzat is quite slim

@@ProtomanButCallMeBlues they just replayed the back and forth between Khamzat and Meerschart on an embedded vlog episode within the past few days. Khamzat was the only one talking shit, Meerschart was legitimately being respectful, speaking the truth without bias, even when it was pertaining to his past losses. I enjoy watching Chimaev too, but a spade, I'll always call a spade. Se la vie
