@Mykhalio Beltrán Styles make fights, if anything it showed how jan used his obvious weight advantage to hold Izzy down really wasn’t all that impressive because Izzy is a natural skinny mw. Couldn’t do that with someone his size and a better grappler in glover, even on the feet because the fear of a takedown he wobbled jan and was catching him

This has to be the most inspirational thing in mma history. Who has been doing what he's been doing at his age. And probably one of the best ambassadors of the sport. If you want anyone to become champ it's this guy. GOAT conversation. Keep your double champs and your long undefeated streaks. Don't matter. None of them have done this.

Literally brought me to tears. At 42 years old, this battle worn soldier finally got it done. The guys in his division are stronger, faster, and younger, but Glover never gave up until the end. Man sometimes life really is a fairy tale.

Jan delivered so many emotions for Poles over last couple of years that I can't say it was a spectacular defeat. Glover was prepared better, and he won, but what I truly enjoyed is mutual respect for each other. That was masterpiece✌🏽

Glover trained my kids years and years ago. Before he got stuck back in Brasil in his prime. He is a fantastic human being. Bar none the most sincere fighter I've known. I took the video where he knocked a guy, who didn't make weight, out in under 10secs. The kind of KO some don't come back from. Chuck and John freak out and jump the ropes and all Glover could think about was making sure the guy was ok. He deserves everything he gets

I remember watching Glover on embedded when he first moved to America to begin his quest for the UFC belt. He barely spoke a word of English. Now he's here many years later and belt around his waste. Congrats to the new champ!

There have been a lot of great fights, just within the past two years really, in this promotion; seeing Glover win, it's awesome; how do you not love this guy; he was a terror when he first came in to the UFC. Was at 18-0 right? And at 42, he's the champ. Too cool.

He started out 2-2 then I believe won His next 18 fights .He got n the UFC at like 22-2 I believe but he did go 2-2 n His first 4 back n like 02-03 .He is 33-7 total record has only lost 5 times since those first 2 losses n 2002 ,03 .He lost only 5 times from 2012 to 2021 so really 2012 to 2022 He wont fight again until 2022 .10 Years n the UFC He won from 2012 to 2014 was the Number 1 Contender lost to Jon Jones for the Title n 2014 .He lost to Alexander Gusterfson and Rumble Johnson n 2016 and 2017 ,He lost to Corey Anderson n like 2018 .He lost to some one else maybe n 2017 or 2018 Maybe it was Santos .Then Glover has went on a 6 Fight Win Streak from the end of 2018 or early 2019 to now. But 33-7 is damn Good He lost His first fight and like His 4th fight I think .He had Visa problems or He would have gotten n the UFC n 2005 as Contender .He was Good friends with Chuck Liddell but He lost the Strap n 2006 and I think Glover could have won it n 2006 to the 2010 Area maybe could have defended it a few times and then Jon would have took it from Him .And Maybe He still gets it back at 42 maybe He prefers it this way He is a First ballad hall of famer He has the same coach as Chuck Liddell .

Glover's been a contender in that division since he stepped in the promotion. But feel free to have your take. Just think it's goofy to say he doesnt deserve it when um... he just subbed the champ.

The bumpy road glover has had to get through after losing his title shot against jones back in 2014, and taking devastating losses to gus, AJ, etc. Yet STILL was persistent and unrelenting on accomplishing his goal to be lhw champ and went on a (as of now) 6 fight win streak to capture the belt at age 42 which is almost unheard of. Happy for him, hope he defends and retires

I had a really good day today carving pumpkins with my mom and my estranged brother I haven't seen in years. When I heard Glover got the dub it made my day almost perfect (it wasn't perfect perfect because I'm a houstonian and my 'stros lost) but still. I'm so happy for him. Good shit :)
