Since his retirement, he has allowed others to shine. His skill, fight IQ and complete discipline to the sport is equal to none. If he hadn't retired, alot of lightweights would be in trouble. Thank you Hasbulla for retiring.

I mean, that's how they sell a fight. It's quite clear that the only way any of them can be stopped is with a well timed KO shot which they aren't prepared for. They're all very good at rolling with the punches too. There's no way anyone outscores them or submits them. Not right now.

This was Makhachev's toughest test, and he dominated Dan Hooker with ease. First I thought he was being pushed, or it was the Khabib hype, but he proved the hype is real. He is easily the best fighter in the division.

Dana said Dariush vs Islam is the fight to make, but Dariush said on his last fight that he's gonna go on a break for a year on fighting because he has a baby on the way. Its safe to assume that's he's out for the contender and title talks, His ranked 3 might be affected too after this and after the Gaethje vs Chandler fight.

The fact that dustin poirier struggled to finish dan hooker in 5 rounds when dan hooker didn't even last 2 rounds with Islam shows how much grappling is far more effective than just stand boxing I can't wait to see dustin, oliviera, justin & Islam all play each other cause it's gonna be fire

Today was a good day to understand the difference between Abdulmanap's students and other fighters from that region, who are already far above UFC level technically. What a great coach/teacher/father he was. All of his students have a tremendous work ethic and get constantly better.

Regarding RDA and Khabib, Khabib dominated the fight but his lack of jujitsu at that time made it a decision victor. The Kimora Islam used to win the fight.. That was Jujitsu not Sambo. Khabib embraced Jujitsu fully towards the end of his career... Where do you think all those submissions came from? Triangle choke on Gaethe, subs on Conor, Porier, Johnson, many others, all Jujitsu bratha.

People have to realise that these guys have been training in this sort of stuff since they were pretty much born. And the hardships they've had to overcome in their countries only adds to it. It's no surprise to me really that Islam, Khabib and khamzat have been walking through people.

@@isthismemes1038 Win streak is how we see him now. I see Islam with MANY title defenses instead. Only Dariush can compete with him, but Islam is more sound on the ground and a better gas tank. Islam's hardest fight will be Dustin first and then Dariush second... Then he will get the belt..
