After every weight cut, I think to myself: this is just physical weight cutting, I'm not cutting any weight from my mental weight. That mental weight is what keeps me getting up early every morning. I don't train just my body, I also train my mind. After all, what are we without our minds? Without our willingness to improve? Nothing. They know that a fight before their scheduled one would likely cause the commission to cancel their fight. Most fighters aren't gonna throw their payday away like that. Usually if there's an altercation its at the face off.
