Nah, I don’t think so. I think maybe for Colby but honestly Masvidal seemed to genuinely hate Covington cause he pretty much used Jorge and his team as a launch pad for his career. Masvidal likes to put on a show but he is not fake about his emotions and you could even tell by the end of the weigh in.

Jorge had the same record as Colby at one point..16-3. guess what? He lost it because he couldn't escape stiff competition anymore. Neither can Colby. Even if he wins against Jorge, a guy near the end of his thirties and career, that's just another old head Colby has beat, not someone like Burns or Edwards. He proved a lot in his fights with Usman but I'm not convinced he can actually hang with the top 10 until he fights one of these contenders in their physical prime.

@@ceedub3966 True. Colby is very good fighter but he never actually beat top contender at his prime. His biggest wins are Maia, RDA, Lawler, Woodley. Every single one of them out of their prime. He did perform good vs Usman but still, those are two losses to only top guy who he fought at his best.
